The game time is set to approximately 3 minutes.  Elapsed time is shown with the timer bar above the playing board in green tic marks.  The tic marks turn red when game time is running low (30 seconds left).

An entered word adds to the game score only if it is found in the game dictionary.  Words must be between 3 and 12 letters.  A maximum of 100 words per game is possible.  Duplicate words are not accepted even if they occupy a different board location.  

One point is given to each letter of a word beyond two letters.  For example, a 3-letter word is worth 1 point, a 4-letter word is worth 2 points, a 5-letter word is worth 3 points, etc.
